Spotlight Artist: Mac Davis

Howdy Folks!

Hope things are warming up in your neck of the woods! It’s just starting to show signs of spring here in Nashville. We’ve been thawing out and dusting off some of our older records… and while we were doing just that, we remembered how much we love Mac Davis. So… he’s in our spotlight this week on the show!

Surely you remember his hit single “Baby, Don’t Get Hooked On Me.” It was EVERYWHERE in 1972. But… did you know that he also wrote several hit songs for Elvis, among many others? And who can forget his 1981 solo hit, “You’re My Bestest Friend”? All of these great songs, and MORE are on our playlist this week, so don’t miss out!
